The Anchorage hotel is the oldest licensed premises in Troon dating back to 1812 when it was an old coaching inn.

In 1901 the hotel was used as a meeting place for golfers before boarding the horse-drawn carriage service from the hotel to Royal Troon.

To this day our hotel still holds that tradition of all those years ago with golfers meeting from all over the world before and after a round of golf.

Our hotel has recently been taken over by new management from a well established local company.
